Sorry that I’m a little late with this kids I promise to work a little faster for you in the upcoming weeks. It has been crazy around here. I am starting to become in desperate need of a traveling photographer, because the lack of images for me to provide for yall is kinda upsetting me. I need to get it together. Mansfield University
Man oh man. I do not even know when to start. Mansfield is more like man-hill. I see why the mountains are in their logo. Just an F.Y.I. if you have Sprint expect to be lonely. I lose cell phone service one hour before entering Mansfield and continued to have no service at all during my stay. My hotel stood on hill like the Bates hotel. I exercised caution even though it was a comfort in. Hotel phone only makes local calls, it had a flat screen plus* and free net, that I didn’t get to use till about 2 a.m. after the show. Got lost on campus, ect ect ect… the fail whale was coming. Got to the spot and set up. I’m telling you these venues at some of these Colleges are better than what other schools have and what some places in the city have to offer. Dj has a secluded booth looking over the floor, lightly tinted and covered in black lights, with no air condition. (love it when there is no AC) The secluded booth can always be found by request stragglers but really amazing event. The energy these kids showed have really got me thinking about how great traveling around this semester is gonna be.. No Sleep Tour may be under way. Also a big Dj Beatstreet fail was not setting up video or the camera, please excuse the hood-ness of the blackberry tour photos. I need a photographer intern.. any takers??

I’m pretty happy that I was given the chance to work on this project with a producer that is making a lot of noise in the industry and putting the DMV on the map. If you are not already familiar with this cat … well get familiar real quick! Judah has worked with artist like Wale, C-Rayz-Walz, E Ness and much more. All I can say is that this dude is a problem and now he has decided to lace all you lyricist and instrumental lovers out there with a solid collection of his production, so thank us later, Here Enjoy!

Class is in session!! IUP (home of the Crimson Hawk) welcomes thousands of new students and returning students this year to a wonderful new school year. Administration puts on this event the Sunday before classes called The Freshman Convocation. The event comes with FREE everything!! Food, Refreshments, Snacks, Tee-Shirts and Me! I am happy that I was selected to return for a second year to be the 1st of many memories for the upcoming class of 2013. This year so much energy was felt, that I have to say that it was a crazy feeling and a good way to end this month off right!

Getting Down To Business, Dispite The Wind Factor
It was about 1 hr before my gig for IUP’s Welcome Freshman event for the TEN org when I looked at my twitter and started looking at the feeds pouring in uncontrollably and I kept saying no to myself until I said “Oh My God” I had to stand up and sit back down. For I knew that the world lost a role model, the dj community has lost one of the greatest innovators of our time, and the shock turned into sadness for now a human life was lost, but more so I saw him live at Dusk last Saturday from behind the booth. It is crazy how not even 7 days ago this character was alive enjoying life and just like that you are gone, never to be seen again. Quite eerie and disturbing for me. Again and again, I am being told to tell the ones you love that you love them every chance you get. This life is short and be happy with what you have and make the best of it. That night I had to end the party with T.R.O.Y. and just hold my head and let music play. For they say, no one ever really dies, but energy is just channeled somewhere else. So for the people in my life that have passed and with all of the people passing away in 2009 I guess its never really a goodbye but more like I’ll just see you soon… someday.
