Biography

Dj Beatstreet, Philadelphia veteran, partially trained musician, and social media marketer would have never believed that his talent would springboard him into controlling the air waves on a Top 5 major market radio station.

Music has been his passion before he could talk. He hummed before he could speak, played piano before pre-k, and joined the school band before puberty. As he grew so did his musical knowledge and tastes. In a world where playing it safe is the norm, he tends to tread along the edge. Not being afraid to push the envelope has landed him the opportunity to play for some of the biggest colleges to various swanky lounges and clubs.  Most recently he was asked to add some flare to the current fringe on Philadelphia radio.

He started out on Wired 96.5 FM (WRDW) with “The Thirsty Thursday Mix” and then moved to a new time slot and new show called the ” Wired After Hours Mix”. After 6 months of suppling dance hits for the after hours listeners, Beatstreet was placed on the “12 O’ Clock Hit Mix” every weekday at noon; the prime time for major listening. Controlling the air waves by day and night, smashing clubs on the weekends, opening up & playing with headlining artists, Dj Beatstreet is on the brink of national recognition, and flight away from being international.
