Mansfield University
Man oh man. I do not even know when to start. Mansfield is more like man-hill. I see why the mountains are in their logo. Just an F.Y.I. if you have Sprint expect to be lonely. I lose cell phone service one hour before entering Mansfield and continued to have no service at all during my stay. My hotel stood on hill like the Bates hotel. I exercised caution even though it was a comfort in. Hotel phone only makes local calls, it had a flat screen plus* and free net, that I didn’t get to use till about 2 a.m. after the show. Got lost on campus, ect ect ect… the fail whale was coming. Got to the spot and set up. I’m telling you these venues at some of these Colleges are better than what other schools have and what some places in the city have to offer. Dj has a secluded booth looking over the floor, lightly tinted and covered in black lights, with no air condition. (love it when there is no AC) The secluded booth can always be found by request stragglers but really amazing event. The energy these kids showed have really got me thinking about how great traveling around this semester is gonna be.. No Sleep Tour may be under way. Also a big Dj Beatstreet fail was not setting up video or the camera, please excuse the hood-ness of the blackberry tour photos. I need a photographer intern.. any takers??
